CTC to in-hand salary calculator: your real monthly take-home

Cost to company (CTC) is the total an employer spends on you, not what reaches your account. Enter your CTC and its components, and this calculator estimates your monthly in-hand salary after the deductions that come out of it, such as provident fund contributions, professional tax and income tax.

Some parts of CTC never reach your account each month: the employer's provident fund contribution, gratuity and insurance are costs to the company. Others, like your own PF contribution and TDS on salary, are deducted before you are paid. The exact split depends on how your employer structures the package and which tax regime you choose, so confirm with your payslip.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my in-hand salary lower than CTC divided by 12?

Because CTC includes employer contributions and benefits that are not paid out monthly, and your own deductions come out of the rest.

Does the tax regime change my take-home?

Yes. The regime you choose changes the TDS your employer deducts, which changes the monthly amount you receive.

Is the result exact?

It is an estimate. Variable pay, reimbursements and your employer's own rules mean your actual payslip may differ.
