Highest Paying RDs

Every RD open to the general public, ranked by its best available rate.

The Top 10

Methodology

The best rate across every tenure

Each RD is ranked by the single best general-public rate it offers across every tenure it publishes — not just its headline 1-year rate — since the top payout is often only available at a specific special tenure.

DICGC insures deposits up to ₹5 lakh per depositor, per bank — this covers scheduled banks and small finance banks, but not NBFC deposits, which carry a credit rating instead of deposit insurance.

Highest paying recurring deposit rates in India

A recurring deposit turns a small monthly saving into a lump sum at maturity, and the rate you lock in can differ between banks for the same tenure. This list ranks recurring deposits by interest rate so you can find where regular savings earn the most.

Check the minimum monthly instalment, the tenure options, and what happens if you miss a payment, since penalties and rules vary by bank.
