How we work

This page explains how the products, rankings and guides on Truely Money are made, so you can judge how far to trust them.
Where the data comes from
Product facts such as interest rates, fees, tenures, reward rules, lounge access and eligibility are taken from the official websites and published rate cards of the banks, lenders and issuers, and from government and RBI publications for schemes. We do not copy another comparison site's tables. Each product record carries the date it was last checked, and that date is shown on the page.
How it is checked
Data is gathered with the help of AI research tools and then reviewed against the source page before it goes live. Records are marked by how well they are confirmed, and anything we could not confirm is shown as not disclosed rather than guessed. We never fill a gap with an invented figure.
How lists are ranked
Rankings follow a rule that is stated on the page: credit cards by the net value you would receive after fees on a stated spending profile, loans by how likely you are to be approved before the rate is compared, deposits and accounts by rate or balance requirement. The full method is on the How We Rank page. A bank or issuer cannot pay for a place in a list or influence its order.
How we earn money, and why it does not affect rankings
Truely Money is supported by advertising and does not earn commission from banks or lenders for applications. Ads are labelled and kept apart from the comparison lists. Because we are not paid per application, we have no reason to push one product over another.
Guides and articles
The guides in Learn are written and fact-checked by founder Rakshit Dohare to explain how a product works: how interest is calculated, what fees to look for, and the mistakes to avoid. They avoid quoting live rates, hedge any well-known figure that can change, and show the month they were last reviewed. They are general information and not personal advice.
Corrections
If you spot a wrong figure or an out-of-date term, email support@truelymoney.com with the product and a link to the bank's page. We verify it against the source and correct the listing, usually within a few working days. A correction is made in place, and the last-checked date is updated.
