Two cards researched for this list didn't make the cut, on purpose: one's real online-shopping rate only activates behind a recurring paid add-on this app's ranking has no way to subtract, and the other's headline "customizable rewards" claim didn't hold up once checked directly against the issuer's own terms. As always, a merchant-restricted elevated rate ("up to 10% on named platforms") is never counted as if it applied to all online spend.
